Last updated: April 4, 2026  ·  Effective date: April 4, 2026

Please read these Terms carefully before using VStock Data. They govern your access to and use of our platform. By using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VStock Data ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including free trial users and paid subscribers.

2. Description of Service

VStock Data provides a managed web scraping and data extraction platform. The Service includes access to our scraping infrastructure, anti-bot bypass technology, data delivery pipelines, and related APIs. VStock Data acts solely as a technical service provider — you direct what data to collect and how to use it.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Permitted uses include competitive intelligence, price monitoring, market research, lead generation, and other data collection activities that target publicly accessible information. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and the terms of service of the websites you scrape.

4. Prohibited Use

You must not use the Service to: • Scrape, collect, or store personally identifiable information (PII) without a lawful basis under applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) • Access data that requires authentication or is behind a login without authorization • Scrape content in a manner that causes material harm to the target service (e.g., denial-of-service-level request rates) • Collect data for purposes of harassment, stalking, or any unlawful activity • Resell raw access to our scraping infrastructure to third parties without a written reseller agreement • Violate any applicable export control, sanctions, or trade compliance laws

5. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

6. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you collect through the Service. VStock Data does not claim any ownership rights over the data you extract. VStock Data may retain anonymized, aggregated usage statistics for service improvement purposes.

7. Service Availability & SLA

VStock Data targets 99.9% uptime for Enterprise plans as described in the applicable Service Level Agreement. Starter and Growth plans do not include an SLA guarantee. Planned maintenance windows will be announced with at least 24 hours' notice via the status page.

8. Billing & Cancellation

Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually in advance. Usage-based charges are billed in arrears. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VStock Data shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VStock Data and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights or applicable laws.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
